God Is Watching At Church Picnic

A Pastor who has just resumed in his new parish, wished to increase the congregation in as many ways as possible. So, he decided to organize a picnic on the church grounds and invited the entire community to come.

Smarting from his past experiences, the Pastor placed a basket full of apples on one end of a long table with a sign saying, "Take only one apple please. Remember that God is watching."

On the other end of the table was a plate of cookies where one of the children had placed a sign saying, "Take as many cookies as you want. God is busy watching the apples."
