Benefits Of Not lying.

A minister told his congregation, “Next week I will preach about lying. To help you understand my sermon, please read Mark 17.”

The next Sunday he asked, “How many of you read Mark 17?” Every hand went up. The minister frowned and said, “Mark has only 16 chapters.

“Now, let's talk about lying.”

Only good comes from being honest and true.

Only harm and suffering come from falsehood.

It doesn't always feel as if good comes from truth and honesty, but in the long run, it does.
