Being A Role Model

Being a role model is one of the most powerful forms of education. Youngsters need good models more than they need critics. It's one of a parent's and any adult’s greatest responsibilities. If you want others to follow your example, don't criticize or cajole them; because, “Do as I do, is far more effective than do as I say.” Live your own life in a manner that convincingly demonstrates both the virtues and successes of your way of life.

Live so that when your children and others think of fairness, caring, honesty and integrity, they think of you. Learn the art of pulling, instead of pushing; because when you pull the string, it will follow you wherever you wish. But when you push it, it will go nowhere at all.
