When a seemingly happily married couple went to celebrate
their first wedding anniversary in their neighbourhood fine restaurant, they
were seated at a cozy corner. After a while when the wife looked across to a
table at the opposite corner, saw a man in a drunken stupor, but pretended not
to have seen anything.
But while having their ordered nice meal with a fine wine to
go with it, the wife didn’t realize that she was being absent minded. So the
husband asked, "I notice you've been watching that man for some time now.
Do you know him?" And the wife replied, "Yes! He's my ex-husband and
has been drinking like that since I left him seven years ago." The husband
just smiled and said, "That's remarkable! I wouldn't think anybody could
celebrate for that long!"
