A company, feeling it was time for a shake-up, hired a new Human
Resources Director. This new boss was determined to rid the company of all
slackers. When on a tour of the facilities, the HRD noticed a guy leaning on a
wall in a room full of workers he thought it was his chance to show everyone he
meant business.
The HRD walked up to the guy and asked, "And how much
money do you make per week?" Undaunted, the young fellow looked at him and
replied, "I make $200.00 a week. Why do you ask?" The HRD then handed
the guy $200 in cash and screamed, "Here's a week's pay, now GET OUT and
don't come back!"
Feeling pretty good about his first firing, the HRD looked
around the room and asked, "Does anyone want to tell me what that slacker does
here?" With a sheepish grin, one of the other workers muttered, "He's
the pizza delivery guy."
