After the checkout clerk had finished folding a lady’s
purchases, she asked, “What shall it be? Cash, Check or Charge?" As the lady
fumbled for her wallet, the clerk noticed a remote control for a television set
in her purse. And curiously, she asked, "So, do you always carry your TV
remote?"
Smiling mischievously, the lady replied, "Oh no! But my
husband refused to come shopping with me, so I figured this was the most legal
evil thing I could do to him."
