The secret of developing and maintaining your Integrity, is getting started. And like all things, it always seems impossible until it's done. While you are not bound to win or succeed, you are bound to be true and live by the light that you have. You must stand with anybody that stands right, and stand with him while he is right, and part with him when he goes wrong.
Your goodness is about your character, integrity, honesty, kindness, generosity, moral courage, and the like. And the supreme quality for leadership is unquestionably integrity; for the greatness of a man is not in how much wealth he acquires, but in his integrity and his ability to positively affect those around him.
And living with integrity means, not settling for less than what you know you is true and deserve in your life and relationships, asking for what you want and need from others, speaking your truth even though it might create conflict or tension, and behaving in ways that are in harmony with your personal values, beliefs and convictions. It does not matter how slowly you may go, as long as you do not stop.
