With no warning and clear out of the blue, a husband said to his wife, "Honey, I have invited a friend home for dinner tonight."

"What? Are you crazy? Can’t you see that the house is in a mess?” His wife asked in annoyance. “I didn't have time to go shopping. All the dishes are dirty and I don't feel like cooking a fancy meal tonight." She concluded.

"I know all that." The husband said.

"Then why in the world, did you invite your friend for dinner tonight?" The wife asked.

"Because the poor fool is thinking about getting married." The husband answered, with a mischievous smile.
