Some Things To Always Remember

1.       Your presence is a present to the world; for you are unique and one of a kind.
2.       Your life can be what you want it to be, so take the days just one at a time.
3.       Count your blessings, not your troubles. You’ll make it through whatever comes along.
4.       Within you are so many answers; all you need is to understand, have courage and be strong.
5.       Don’t put limits on yourself. So many dreams are waiting to be realized.
6.       Decisions are too important to leave to chance. Reach for your peak, your goal, and your prize.
7.       Nothing wastes more energy than worrying. The longer one carries a problem, the heavier it gets.
8.       Don’t take things too seriously. Live a life of serenity, not a life of regrets.
9.       Remember that a little love goes a long way, and a lot goes forever.
10.   Also remember that friendship is a wise investment; for life’s treasures are people, together.
11.   Realize that it’s never too late, to do ordinary things in an extraordinary way.
12.   Have health, hope and happiness to take the time to wish upon a star.
13.   And don’t ever forget even a day, how very special you are.
14.   With your Creator, nothing shall be impossible.

On Kindness

Those who make compassion an essential part of their lives find the joy of life. For kindness deepens the spirit and produces rewards that cannot be completely explained in words. It is therefore an experience more powerful than words. And to become acquainted with kindness, one must be prepared to learn new things and feel new feelings. Kindness is more than a philosophy of the mind. It is a philosophy of the spirit.

Never Again!

I asked a brother how his weekend was and he replied, “Never again!” So I queried, “What type of a reply is that? Don’t you want another weekend?” He then moaned, apologized and said, “Not that! I attended a crusade at the weekend, where I had expected one would find some sanity. But while I was dutifully minding my own business of casting and binding like other gullible crusaders, a supposedly fellow crusader placed a hand on my shoulder and said, ‘You will walk.’ It didn't bother me, because I knew I wasn’t lame. But after the crusade when I was about to pay for my transport fare, I discovered that my wallet had taken leave of me. And I had to walk all the way home.”

Accidental Pregnancy

A really pissed single mother asked her daughter, “Lola, are you going to tell me the truth about how you got pregnant, or am I going to beat it out of you?” And Lola said, “Mum, honest! It was an accident!!” And the mother screamed angrily, “Accident! You mean you were crossing the road and a penis suddenly appeared from nowhere and eventually hit you?” At this point, a sobbing Lola said, “Mum, it wasn’t like that! I tripped, fell and accidentally landed on an erect penis!!”

You Can’t Beat Him

When a man asked God, “God, how long is a million years?" God replied, “To me, it's about a minute.” Then the man asked, “God, how much is a million dollars?” And God replied, “To me, it's a penny.” So the man asked, “God, may I have a penny?” And God replied, “Sure, in a minute.”
